A lover of architecture, fan of furniture and a purveyor of extreme detail, Brandon is the principal of boutique spatial design firm D.Coop in San Diego.
With just over 13 years experience, Brandon’s clients have sought out his expertise for sustainable and budget friendly facilities solutions. Early in his career, Brandon worked with both Haworth and AIS providing systems furniture Spaceplanning to national and international corporations. Applying his experience in the systems industry to facilities Spaceplanning and project development, Brandon developed corporate design and construction standards for national companies including SAIC’s San Diego campus, the East Coast development for Accredited Home Lenders, medical facilities for Bosley Medical’s 45 US offices, and the 19 floor Dubai headquarters of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Corporation. His experience ranges from effective spaceplanning and standards development to the development of critical facilities, SCIF and Classified Information spaces, Data Centers and other Techno Centric Interior. Additionally, Brandon has consulted on several sustainable projects in both California and Oregon. Lastly, Brandon’s reach as a designer has left the confines of the building envelope, having consulted on campus development, exterior design, and trade show displays.
Brandon has an Associates of the Arts degree from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising where he was awarded the Interior Design Award for 2001. He is an active member of the US Green Building Council, a LEED Accredited Professional, and has completed work on two LEED certified projects including Bend Broadband’s LEED Gold Vault in Oregon. Furthermore, Brandon actively participates in various groups on a grassroots level and provides pro-bono services to non for profit groups such as the Ronald McDonald House and the Phoenix House for Teen Recovery.
