Bicycle Companies can now add detection functionality to existing bicycles/ bicycle accessories at no (or low) cost.

eBCAS is a standard that enables cars to detect nearby bicycles. The bicycles are detectable even if they are out of sight (fog, traffic, blind spots, around the corner etc.)

All you need to do is, in your existing bicycle accessory, add to the BLE or WI-FI name the word "eBCAS".
Your accessory will now offer another built-in safety feature of detectability function to the bicycle.
