American furniture company Emeco started in 1944. We took salvaged aluminum from scrap runs and made chairs for the US Navy. A war-time necessity. That became an ongoing direction. Reuse. Recycle. Re-imagine. Begin with what’s left over. Turn it into what will last. 75 years on, that still feels pretty fresh.
