The Wise Owl Shop was born out of a need for eco conscious, wearable expression. One of the most exciting forms of self identity is our style. All textiles used in the Wise Owl Shop are salvaged from rag shops. We visit rag shops four times per year, each time rummaging through about 2 tons of fabric, emerging with between 500-700lbs of usable textiles. As of 2016 we have salvaged over 10,000 pounds of textiles and restructured them into beautiful, one of a kind accessories. Our signature Upcycled Neckwarmers are handcrafted from re-purposed scarves, blankets and textiles. They are lined with Sherpa or micro fleece and have a truly unique button. Each wood or fabric button is handcrafted. Our vision and goal is to create unique, eco conscious accessories for men and woman, all handcrafted in the United Stated, all while leaving the smallest ecological foot print on our mother earth.
